Hooray’s is one of the best gelaterias in the UK. We use a traditional white base (so no eggs) in our gelato ice cream.
We’re proudly independent and make all our gelato ice cream on site in our kitchen at the Stratford Upon Avon shop.
Hooray’s opened on Friday, 13th August 2013, at 3pm(ish) to (we’re very pleased to say!) an orderly queue at the door.
Our kitchen creates artisan (which means individually handmade) flavours of gelato ice cream and sorbets, Belgium waffles, sweet crepes, yummy cakes & cookie dough.
We plan events be it meetings, social or business. Parties, birthdays or just any celebrations. We will be as involved in organising your event as you wish! Upstairs at Hoorays is an ideal location to hold a gathering of any description.
Upstairs at Hooray’s we have a fully stocked bar and make wonderfully decadent cocktails.

Came here on a weekend trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. Tried the Snickers ice cream and was not disappointed at all! Love the venue and the upstairs bit is really homely.

Still my favourite place in town – proper quality.
I usually call when in Stratford as Hooray’s never disappoints. The staff were as friendly, polite and courteous as ever and they also showed immense patience with my inability to choose from the ridiculously large number of flavour options. I finished upon the salty caramel, rum and raisin and vanilla (and what a delight to have REAL vanilla ice cream) I visited around 8ish on a Friday evening and sat in the window watching the world go by. What was interesting to note was several groups of diners leaving the posh restaurants on Sheep Street and coming over to Hooray’s for their desserts – evidently the good folk of Stratford know exactly where to get the best quality gelato. I asked one of the staff if this happened often and apparently it does and they tend to go upstairs. Upstairs??? I never knew! It’s a different vibe up there: battered leather sofas, great chilled music and much more intimate… and even a small cocktail bar. Another reason for me to return!!!
