It’s September… Summer is over!

To celebrate such a busy and hectic summer, and to thank our incredible team for working so hard all summer, we had a “we survived the summer” party – with delicious food, lots of prosecco, and all the laughs! Big thank you to The Vintner for such a fabulous evening, and an even bigger thank you to our hardworking team for being so bloody brilliant! ♥

If you’ve passed by the shop recently you will have noticed the shop has been Harry Potter-ified!

We’ve got a freezer full of wonderful & weird new flavours fresh from the wizarding world. Fancy a scoop of butter beer? Or a scoop of Aunt Petunia’s pudding perhaps?

We’ve also borrowed the infamous sorting hat from Hogwarts – don’t worry, we won’t kick you out if you’re in Slytherin!

Speaking of back to school, this month a lot of our team are off to university – we’re going to miss them so much and can’t wait for them to come back! ☹️

Last thing… If you’re a bit of a runner bean, and you’re taking part in Stratford’s Big 10K this Sunday, make sure to swing by the shop! We’re giving 10% off all your recovery waffles, scoops, and milkshakes. Just make sure you bring your race number with you!

It’s officially summer! ☀️
And we’ve really shaken things up in the shop last month. We’re now open until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and we’re serving up PIZZA and cocktails. I know, right?

Every Friday is Pizza Friday – you can grab a slice with a cocktail (did we mention we do 2-4-1 cocktails too?). Booking is recommended – so make sure to let us know if you fancy popping along.

In other news, it’s our birthday on August 13^th. Can you believe it – Hooray’s is NINE years old? And what a nine years it’s been!

We’ll be celebrating our birthday in true Hooray’s style – think balloons, sparkles, prosecco, and cake of course! Keep an eye out on our windows for some real party vibes!

Hello and happy July! ?

The sun has got his hat on (most of the time, anyway), so we thought we’d let you guys know about our online ordering system – less time queuing equals more time eating gelato with your loved ones!

It’s very simple – head to GoodEats.io/Hoorays on your phone (or computer, if you’re ordering on your lunch break!), hit the collection button, and make your choices.

Head to the shop and a member of our team will have your order ready and waiting for you!

Our online ordering system is perfect for lunch breaks, picnics by the river, afternoon treats with your little ones, or on those days when you just don’t want to queue!

In other news – it’s nearly the summer holidays! Kids break up from school on July 21^st/22^nd so why not treat your little ones to a treat? Booking is recommended! You can book a table with us by calling 01789 296613.

Hooray – it’s June! ?

And to kick the month off we’ve got a four-day break – four days to put your feet up and enjoy a scoop of gelato or three.

It’s the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and of course we’ve gone above and beyond with our shop decorations – if you haven’t seen our window display, come and have a look!

We’ve also got her royal highness scooping for us – she’s a bit slow, but we need all hands-on deck this weekend!

Our jubilee flavours are officially OUT – we’ve chosen some very British flavours, like cream tea, strawberries and cream, platinum party, and jubilee party.

Speaking of newness, our new menu launched last week! Have you tried anything from it yet? We’ve got a whole new range of waffles, crepes, craft shakes, and even… DONUTS! Have a peek at our Google for the menu, or keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram and Facebook!

We’re running two competitions this week –

• One to win yourself a Jubilee Gelato Cake – all you need to do is snap a selfie with our queenie in the shop & we’ll choose the winning selfie!
• And the other is to win your order AGAIN. Just take a quick pic of your Hooray’s order and you could win it AGAIN. We’re choosing a winner every day, so make sure to tag your photos with #hooraysnewmenu.

What else is going on in June?

We’ve got lots of birthday parties planned, Wimbledon begins at the end of the month – so watch out for some tennis-themed flavours, and we’re running some Learning with Hooray’s workshops with some local brownie groups! How exciting!

First things first – it was Star Wars Day on May 4^th and what better way to celebrate than with our Star Wars inspired gelato?

As the weather is getting better, we thought we’d update you on where you can find Hooray’s while you’re out and about… ☀️

• North Cotswold Dairy

  Emma and Pete look after the Hooray’s herd (this is where we get all of our milk to make our gelato) here and they also have an incredible farm shop, stocked with fresh and local produce. You can also buy fresh milk, and even milkshakes!

• The Rectory PYO

  Imogen and her family run this amazing pick your own farm. Right now, it’s asparagus season but keep your eyes peeled on their socials because it’s strawberry season soon! Really fun family day out and they’ve recently opened an amazing kids play area so perfect for little ones!

• The Ladybird Restaurant at Laylocks Garden Centre

  This lovely café has just had a massive makeover and it looks incredible! Pop in for locally sourced wholesome food (and Hooray’s, of course!).

• The Lime Tree Restaurant at Stratford Garden Centre

  The Limetree Restaurant set at Stratford Garden Centre is one of our favourite spots for a quick bite to eat!

• Timothy’s Restaurant at Fosseway Garden Centre – and the play barn!
• Market Pantry

  David and Yvonne run a stunning café in Broadway, serving the most delicious cakes, pastries, and puds! Special shout out to Yvonne’s brownies because they are DI-VINE.

• Loft Theatre
  It’s always fun to catch a bit of live theatre and why not treat yourself to a pot of Hooray’s while you’re there?
• Sweet Treats at St Peter’s Garden Centre
  These guys make the most delishy desserts – check them out on TikTok and make sure to go visit them this summer!
• And if you’re planning a summer party or event, get in touch with Granny Smith’s – they serve our ice cream from their truck!

And finally, it’s production meeting time – what’s your number one summer flavour? Any flavours you’re desperate to return to Hooray’s? Let us know (via email or contact us via our socials) and we might be able to make your dreams come true…

Can you believe we’re already a third of the way through 2022? We can’t! Despite the crazy weather we’ve had recently, the sun has been shining in our shop. ☀️

Check out our gorgeous Easter window display, by our front-of-house manager, Bex! ❤️

What else is going on this month?
On April 7th we’re ever so excited for a springtime floral wreath workshop, run by Our Adventures in Warwickshire and White Ivy Flowers. Make sure to check out their socials for the next one!

April 23rd is Shakespeare’s Birthday and we’ll be shaking up some of our flavours in tribute to the bard. Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook to see if you can guess them.

And the Festival of Motoring is heading to Stratford on April 30th – the town will become completely pedestrianised, and the streets will be full of fabulous motors!

Oh and… As you probably already know, our queues in the warmer months can be a little outrageous so we’ve come up with a genius plan… Queue jump cards!

Spring has (nearly) sprung in the shop! ?
It’s finally March which means the days are getting longer, the sun is shining (most of the time – we’re in England after all) and the Easter bunny is busy making some new flavours for Hooray’s! ?

Our limited-edition Easter flavours will be hitting the shop on March 22^nd, and we’ve got a good mix of old favourites and fresh newbies for you to try! Make sure to pop in and have a look before it’s too late!

It’s Red Nose Day on the 18^th of March and we’ll be raising money for Children in Need with a special flavour – Red Nose Raspberry Ripple! All proceeds will be donated so you can do a good deed whilst treating yourself. ?

In other exciting news, we’re getting all moved into our new space, with new freezers being installed this month which means big things are coming! Watch this space!

Last thing – we’ve been cooking up something fresh and fun in the Hooray’s kitchen – keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram and Facebook for the launch of something very delicious indeed! We can’t wait for you to try it.

Love is in the air this month at Hooray’s! ?

Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching, and cupid has paid a little visit to our shop! Our new Valentine’s flavours are OUT and we’ve gone big this year – think love potion, green with envy, cupid’s arrow, love hearts and more!

Happy New Year from Hooray’s!

We hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and New Year and is looking forward to 2022.

What’s going on at Hooray’s this month? Well, if you’ve been following our Instagram and Facebook pages, you will have seen we’ve been very busy working on our brand-new Celebration range pots!

As always, our gelato is made in the shop and now it’s available to take home with you! Choose from our nine delicious flavours – Birthday Cake, Lemon Drizzle, Black Forest Gateau, Vegan Salted Caramel Brownie, Blueberry Cheesecake, Eton Mess, Carrot Cake, Apple Crumble, and the classic Chokkywokky Sundae! We’re so, so proud and excited about our new range – you can pick up a pot from the shop!

We’ve extended our range of take-home tubs too – you can choose from our 13 favourite flavours to take home in 100ml pots for a little pick-me-up whenever you need!

Also – does anyone out there know of any small industrial units available to rent, in or around Stratford/Evesham? We are currently looking for additional storage space of about 1000 sq. ft. Everything we’ve found so far is just too big! ? If you know of anyone with farm/industrial units available within a 10-mile radius of Stratford, please let us know!

Other than that, we just wanted to wish you a happy new year and to thank you for all your support during 2021!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Hooray’s – the shop has been visited by Santa’s little helpers and they’ve spruced up the place. We’ve got some naughty little elves in the shop too – have a peek in our window to see what they’ve been up to – and don’t forget to tag us in your photos on Instagram and Facebook if you spot them up to no good!

Pop into the shop next week to check out our Christmas decorations, fabulous festive flavours (including after eight, chocolate orange and gingerbread!), and our all-new Christmas menu! With lots of winter warmers and some special treats, there really is something for everyone.

This month we’re kicking off the Christmas preparations with a week’s worth of wreath making classes starting on Friday 26^th November with White Ivy Flowers – tickets are all sold out now but keep your eyes peeled on our socials for our next event announcements!

The Christmas light switch on is on the 25^th of November – why not come out of the cold and grab yourself a scoop or a hot chocolate whilst you wait?

Speaking of Christmas, what’re you having for Christmas Day dessert? Don’t forget you can treat yourself and your loved ones to Hooray’s at home – our takeaway tubs are available in 500ml and 1000ml sizes and make the dreamiest dessert (because who likes Christmas cake really?!). Come into the shop to get yours sorted today!

We’ve also been very busy behind the scenes cooking up something very special indeed! All will be revealed in due time but you’re going to want to set your alarms – it’s a good one.
